Back in mid-April, Fanatics founder Michael Rubin announced the “All In Challenge” — a virtual fundraising effort designed to raise millions of dollars to provide food for children, the elderly, and frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Almost instantly, several current and former members of the New York Giants joined the challenge, including retired quarterback Eli Manning, who had been nominated by his brother, Peyton Manning.
Manning went huge with his offering, putting his Super Bowl XLVI MVP Corvette up for bid. And as part of the package, Eli promised that he would personally drive the car to the winning bidder.
Earlier this week, it came time for Manning to do just that.
The 2011 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible was won for an impressive $140,000 with proceeds going to help organizations such as Meals on Wheels, World Central Kitchen, America’s Food Fund, No Kid Hungry, and Feeding America.
The vehicle was ultimately destined for Denver where the winner, Dave, also had Manning sign the interior of his brand new ride.
In total, the All In Challenge has raised more than $60 million for families in need.
It’s been a whole year since Eli Manning left the New York Giants after a decorated 16-year career. Miss him yet? Well, he’ll be around a little more going forward if he has his way.
In an interview with Michael Rothstein of ESPN, Manning was asked after a year of recharging what his next move professionally is going to be.

“You know, I’m still figuring that out. You’re a little bit limited on what you could do and what some options were, obviously, with a pandemic going on, so I just took this time to just reflect and dabble in a few things,” Manning said. “I am going to do some things with ESPN. “I’m going to join Peyton in some of his ‘Peyton’s Places’ and do the … kind of college version of that, college football. So some of those things will be fun, keep me involved in the game of football.
“Hopefully I’ll be able to do some more things with the Giants next year as well. This year, it was new, didn’t know how much I wanted to be around . I think we both needed a break from each other, but hopefully I can do some more things related to the Giants.”
Manning recently opened a Twitter account (@EliManning) but doesn’t plan on posting anything too controversial.
“I still have that side where it’s not trying to let everybody know exactly what I’m doing and what’s going on, and I still — I don’t tweet a whole lot about my everyday experiences,” said Manning. “But to see a lighter side, to see just some of the goofy things that are going on and a few things about kids’ sports and activities and sloppy Joes.

“I try not to get too serious. I don’t want to say anything negative about anything. Just kind of a neat way to have a little voice and see if you can get some people to smile a little bit.”
Giants co-owner John Mara has been very open about his desire to see Manning take a role with the organization, so we’ll see what 2021 begins.
